UTS is progressing toward a full resolution to the email issues experienced yesterday and this morning. We will provide another update at 12:00 p.m.
UTS continues to work with Microsoft on resolving the email issues as defined below. External email is beginning to flow in real time, however more investigation and testing is being performed to fully resolve this issue.

Similar to the issue that we experienced on Wednesday afternoon, we are once again experiencing issues with incoming email.
Users will be able to exchange messages with other faculty and staff within the @mcmaster.ca domain, but there is a delay in receiving emails from external senders or from students who are on the Gmail platform. This issue also means that users cannot send to @mcmaster.ca email lists (containing a group of recipients).
We are once again working with Microsoft to investigate and resolve the issue and will provide updates to keep the community informed.
