Troubleshooting Windows 11-Mac WiFi Connectivity Issues

If you’re encountering difficulties connecting your Windows 11 device to Mac-Wifi after December 12, 2023, it might be due to the Microsoft KB5033375 update, known to cause widespread wireless issues. This problem extends beyond the University and can be addressed by uninstalling the update. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Plug In Your Device
Ensure your laptop is plugged in and charging, as the process may take 15-20 minutes.
Step 2: Access Windows Updates
Navigate to the Windows start menu and type ‘Updates.’
Step 3: Select Update History
Click on “Update History” under More Options.
Step 4: Uninstall Updates
Choose “Uninstall Updates.”
Step 5: Uninstall Relevant Updates
Click “Uninstall” next to “Security Update for Windows (KB5033375)” and related cumulative update preview KB50532288 (this is an optional update and may not have been installed).
Step 6: Restart Your Computer
After uninstalling the update, restart your computer, which may take a few minutes.
