Upcoming scheduled network maintenance – February 25 and 26, 2023
In an ongoing effort to increase McMaster’s network reliability and performance, University Technology Services (UTS) has scheduled a network maintenance window this weekend from Feb. 25 and 26, between 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Scheduled network maintenance | Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
On Saturday, February 25, between 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., UTS will be undertaking the required maintenance of our Gluster Network Attached Storage. During this time, users may experience periods of limited access to Mosaic and uploads, such as resumes or other files, may be lost and will need to be re-uploaded after the maintenance window is complete. Additionally, Campus Web Services may experience brief outages during this time. The services may appear usable at times, but any changes made during the maintenance window may be lost.

From 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.:

Engineering Technology Building (ETB) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building.

Information Technology Building (ITB) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building.
From 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. the following remote locations will experience network interruptions for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the buildings.
