Upcoming scheduled network maintenance on April 30th

In an ongoing effort to increase McMaster’s network reliability and performance, University Technology Services (UTS) has scheduled a network maintenance window for Sunday, April 30, between 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Planned activities for this maintenance window, in order, are:
- Hamilton Hall (HH) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building. Maintenance will commence at 7:00 am. During this time, inbound, outbound, and international calling will be impacted, and elevator analog phones will not work. Outbound 911 calls will work, as well as most local and long-distance calls. You may also direct dial McMaster Security at 905-522-4135.
- Peter George Centre for Living and Learning (PGCLL) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building.
- Matthews, Mary Keyes, Bates, Brandon, Les Prince, Hedden, Whidden, McKay and Woodstock Hall (together) will experience a network outage for up to one hour, affecting all wired, wireless and telephony in the building.
