McMaster wireless networks

Check out the cards below to learn more about the three main McMaster networks on campus and when to use them. Mac-WiFi is the primary network to use on campus.

Information Box Group

Mac-Wifi To learn how to connect

The Mac-WiFi system uses the Wi-Fi Protected Access method to encrypt your data. This network is available for members of the McMaster community across campus through your credentials.

Reznet-WiFi To learn how to connect

Students can access Wi-Fi in their residence building through “Reznet-WiFi”. You can access this network with your McMaster credentials.

The process to connect to this network is the same as it is to connect to Mac-WiFi.

*The Reznet-IoT network is for residence students trying to connect a device that does not support Reznet-WiFi*

Mac-Events Learn More about Mac-Events

If you are hosting a large event or conference at McMaster University and would like to provide Wi-Fi access to non-McMaster attendees, you can request to have the Mac-Events Wi-Fi network enabled for the duration of your event.

Looking for a Wired Connection in Residence?
