Note: This process requires that you know your MacID password, and you wish to change it. If you have forgotten your password, please see password instructions for ‘Forgot Your Password.’

Step 1. Log into https://maciam.mcmaster.ca using your existing MacID and password. Once logged in, click on “Manage Passwords”.

Step 2. You will see an entry on this page entitled “ADS” under the application heading. On the far right, click on the “Change” button.

Step 3. Enter your current password in the field provided. Enter your new password, which must be a minimum of eight (8) characters in length. Confirm the new password in the fields provided. Click Submit and wait for the action to complete.

Step 4. The final page will return you to the Passwords page and show “Completed” under Action Status.
