Note: This process requires that you know your MacID password and you wish to change it. If you have forgotten your password, you must follow the Forgot my Password process found below.
Step 1. Log into https://maciam.mcmaster.ca using your existing MacID and password. Once logged in, click on “Manage Passwords”.
Step 2. You will see an entry on this page entitled “ADS” under the application heading. On the far right, click on the “Change” button.
Step 3. Enter your current password in the field provided. Enter your new password and confirm the new password in the fields provided. Click Submit and wait for the action to complete.
Step 4. The final page will return you to the Passwords page and show “Completed” under Action Status.
If you have forgotten your MacID password, you can reset it by going to https://maciam.mcmaster.ca

If this does not work for you, we will require your Person ID number and your barcode and you will need to reactivate your MacID.
