This is the official page for viewing the current Student Technology Services software list. The operating system in all the Technology Centres is Windows 11 (Version 22H2).

Software Requests for UTS Labs

Instructors may request specific software to be installed on the UTS Labs computers. Instructors are responsible for providing the software and proof of appropriate licensing prior to the software installation. Under no circumstances will software be installed without providing appropriate licensing.

A minimum of 15 business days is required to preform a software installation. Requested software must be tested by the requester at least 5 business days before class/course commencement.

  1. To submit a request online, go to the Service Desk Self Service page and log in.
  2. Select Computer Lab Requests
  3. Select Request Lab Software Installation.
  4. Fill in all the details and then select Submit.
  5. You will be advised when the software has been installed and is ready to test.

NOTE: All users are responsible for following Lab Use Policies. Failure to do so could result in the loss of computing privileges.
